The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique identifier for your EarthRoverās 4G module. You may be asked for it when troubleshooting connectivity or working with your SIM provider.
Step by step
Turn on your EarthRover
Make sure the bot is powered on.
Make sure a SIM card is properly inserted inside the bot.
If no SIM card is inserted, the IMEI will appear blank, as shown below.
Connect to the botās Wi-Fi
On your phone, open Wi-Fi settings.
Connect to
frodobots_xx.Password:
12345678(default).
Open the web panel
On your phoneās browser, go to
http://192.168.11.1.
Open the menu
Tap the ā° (three lines) in the top-left corner.
Select āRobotā
If You Donāt See the IMEI
If the menu looks different, your robot is likely running an older firmware version.
Fill out this firmware update request form.
Our team will schedule a time with you to activate your bot, allowing us to update the firmware remotely.
After the update, repeat the steps above to find the IMEI.
