Which SIM cards work with EarthRover?

Updated this week

EarthRovers support most standard 4G physical SIM cards, but coverage and performance vary by country. We recommend choosing a SIM from a major carrier with strong 4G coverage in your area.

  • Both newly issued and older SIM cards are supported, as long as they:

    • are 4G-enabled

    • have an active data plan

    • have no PIN lock enabled

โš ๏ธ Important: Some SIM providers list in their terms of use that the SIM card may only be used in mobile phones. Using the SIM in a robot or IoT device may not be officially supported and could result in restricted service. Always confirm with your provider before choosing a SIM for your EarthRover.
