Each RoboWrist has its own device ID. Follow the steps below to find the IDs for your left and right RoboWrists.
Step 1: Connect RoboCap to Your Computer
Keep RoboCap powered on and connected to a power bank.
Connect a USB-C data cable to the USB-C port at the front end of the central axis of the visor.
Connect the other end of the cable to your computer.
Wait 3–5 seconds. RoboCap should appear as a removable drive on your computer.
Step 2: Find the RoboWrist Folders
Open the RoboCap drive on your computer.
Open the session folder.
Look for folders beginning with
robowrist_.
You should see separate folders for the left and right RoboWrist.
For example:
robowrist_7ccef93852621615_leftrobowrist_ce7cd515ea31bd7b_right
The characters between robowrist_ and _left or _right are the RoboWrist device ID.
Using the examples above:
Left RoboWrist ID:
7ccef93852621615Right RoboWrist ID:
ce7cd515ea31bd7b
Note: _left and _right identify which RoboWrist the folder belongs to. They are not part of the device ID.
You can use these IDs when adding or removing a RoboWrist through the Device Bind page in the RoboCap Control Center.
