DOs & DON'Ts when driving an EarthRover

Driving an EarthRover can be an exciting and enjoyable experience, but it's essential to prioritize safety and responsible handling. Follow these DOs and DONTs for a safe, enjoyable driving experience.

DOs

  • Enable Speaker: This will immerse you in the experience by letting you hear the bot's engine and the surrounding sounds.

  • Switch On Headlights at Night: Prioritize visibility and safety by switching on your headlights when driving after dark.

  • Follow Designated Routes: For a smooth drive, adhere to the routes designated by the bot. These routes are optimized for the best driving experience.

  • Maintain Safe Speed: To minimize the risk of flipping, maintain a speed between 2-3. This range is determined as the safest for bot operation.

  • Respect Civilians: When civilians interact with the bot, remain still and avoid bumping into them to ensure safety.

  • Keep Gaze Ahead: Maintain focus on the road ahead to avoid collisions and stay aware of your surroundings.

  • Reload Tab for Issues: If you encounter delays or jerks, reload the tab for a quick solution. This often resolves issues instantly.

  • Reach out to Customer Support: If the bot flips or gets stuck, go to Menu and . Recording a video can aid in understanding and resolving issues.

DONTs

  • Harm to Civilians: Refrain from causing harm to civilians and respect their rights and safety at all times.

  • Avoid Stairs and Curbs: Do not intentionally drive off stairs or curbs to prevent unnecessary damage.

  • No Intentional Accidents: Avoid causing accidents intentionally. Responsible behavior is encouraged at all times.

  • No Driving into Cars: Refrain from driving into other cars intentionally, as it poses a danger and violates policy.

  • Respect Privacy: Do not disturb local civilians or invade their privacy. Respect their peace and privacy.

  • Avoid Obstacles and Structures: Prevent crashing into obstacles or structures to avoid harm and damage.

  • Respect Public Items: Do not crash the bots into public items intentionally, as it disrupts public order and violates policy.
