Why Do My MT5 Trade Times Look Different From My Dashboard?

Learn why trade times on your MT5 terminal appear 3 hours ahead of your Funded Squad dashboard and why this is completely normal.

Overview

If you have noticed that the trade times shown on your MT5 terminal do not match the times shown on your Funded Squad dashboard, do not worry. This is completely normal and is not an error or a sync issue. It is simply a difference in how each platform displays time.

Please Note: This is not a bug or an error. The time difference between MT5 and your dashboard is expected behaviour and has no impact on your account, trades, or evaluations.

The Reason

Important: MT5 displays trade times in UTC+3 while the Funded Squad dashboard displays all trade times in UTC. This creates a consistent 3 hour difference in how trade times appear across both platforms.

Trade C

Both times shown above represent the exact same trade at the exact same moment. The only difference is the timezone each platform uses for display purposes.

Why Do We Use UTC on the Dashboard?

We standardise all trade times to UTC because we support multiple trading platforms including MT5 and MatchTrader. Each platform uses a different local timezone, so normalising everything to UTC ensures consistency and avoids confusion when comparing trades across different platforms.

Is Any Action Required From Me?

No action is required from your side. Your trades are being recorded and evaluated correctly. This is purely a display difference and has absolutely no impact on your account performance, drawdown calculations, or trading day count.
