🧭 Where to Start
Navigate to:
Visitor Management → Devices
From here, you’ll set up an iPad for a specific office location.
🏢 Step 1 — Select an Office
In the top-right dropdown, choose the company office you’re connecting the iPad to.
Once selected, you’ll see an iPad QR code appear on the page.
🔗 Step 2 — Scan the QR Code
You can copy the QR code or simply scan it with your iPad’s native Camera app.
🔎 Important: Make sure you download the Gable Visitor Management App — this is different from the standard Gable mobile app. The app looks like this:
📥 What Happens After Scanning?
If the app is already installed → it opens automatically
If the app is not installed → you’ll be redirected to download it
Once opened, the iPad will be connected to that specific office
🔄 Switching Offices
If your iPad is already connected to another office:
Open the native iPad Camera app
Scan the new QR code from the Devices page
This will reconnect the iPad to the new location
⚠️ QR Code Best Practices
Rule | Why It Matters |
A QR code can only be scanned once | Multiple scans may cause errors or connection failures |
Refresh the page to generate a new QR code | Use if pairing fails or you need a fresh link |
Always scan from the native Camera app first | Provides a clean connection target |
