Use bulk actions to replace or remove recipes across multiple menu cycles or production records β€” all at once, with control over dates and a full audit trail.

πŸ” What You Can Do with Bulk Recipe Actions

You can perform bulk changes in two key areas:

1. Menus

  • Replace a recipe across one or more menu cycles

  • Automatically generates a new version of the menu with the updated recipe

2. Production Records

  • Replace or delete a recipe from multiple production records at once

🧭 Step-by-Step: Replacing a Recipe in Bulk

  1. Open Bulk Actions from the main menu

  2. Choose whether you're working with:

    • Menu Cycles

    • Production Records

  3. Select the recipe you want to replace

  4. Choose the replacement recipe

  5. Pick the menu(s) or record(s) where the replacement should happen

  6. Specify the specific dates for the update

You can limit the replacement to:

  • Specific dates

  • Selected menus or records

  • Just a few instances (not everything system-wide)

Once you apply the changes:

  • A new version of the menu is automatically created

  • That version is republished with the replacement in place

  • You can clearly see the changes and when they were made
