Gaia supports several roles in a school nutrition operation. Each role uses a different set of pages and works on different tasks. Pick the role that best describes your work to find the right starting point.

You set up the district, build recipes and menu plans for all schools, manage compliance reports, and manage order guides. Related personas such as dietitians, nutritionists, and procurement specialists also log in with this role.

You run daily food service at one site. You forecast, order, manage inventory, complete production records, and supervise cashiers. Supervisors and assistant managers also log in with this role.

You serve students at the point of sale. You open the POS app at the start of a meal, ring up students, and close the session at the end of service.

You set up Gaia for the first time, import student data, register POS terminals, and coordinate with Gaia support for user accounts and district configuration.
