Setting a scaling factor

  1. Open the recipe in the editor.

  2. In the Ingredients list, find the row you want to adjust.

  3. Click on the drag handle and select Set Scaling Factor.

  4. Type a value into the Scale Γ— field. Allowed range is 0 to 5, with up to two decimal places.

  5. Click Apply.

A small "Scaled" chip appears next to any ingredient with a non-default factor so you (and anyone else viewing the recipe) can see at a glance which rows scale differently. The chip shows on:

  • The recipe scaling calculator

  • The printed recipe PDF

  • The public recipe view
