This guide will walk you through the process of granting our application, Genie, Collaborator Access to your store. This is a crucial step in the onboarding process with Genie.

During the onboarding process, we will ask for collaborator access to your store. This access allows us to set up the Genie application and import any relevant data, such as your products and bundles, into Genie, saving you some effort. To provide us with access, we will need your My Shopify URL. For this guide, we will use "activefitnutrition.myshopify.com" as an example.

Some stores may require a collaborator request code. If your store requires this there is a simple process to retrieve it.

Go to your settings, then to users, and finally to collaborators.

Here you will see two options. The first will be "Anyone can send a collaborator request." If this is the selected option then we can leave it there. The other option is "Only people with a collaborator code can send a collaborator request."

If option 2 is the one selected then you will need to send over the Collaborator request code that can be found just below.

Once you have the collaborator request code, please include it in your sign-up form. If the code is not needed then we will request access. For Genie to work properly we will need access to your products to view your inventory, product costs, export products, reports, and apps.

After we have store access we can set up the Genie app for you. It's as simple as that!

If you have any questions or concerns we're here to assist you! Thank you, for your cooperation, and welcome aboard!
