Integrations & API Keys

Written by Ryan Pillsbury

The Integrations page allows you to connect Breezy AI with other tools your business uses.

Using an API key, you can integrate Breezy AI with platforms like Zapier, your CRM, or custom software built by your developer.

This allows other systems to automatically access data such as service requests, contacts, and customer information.

You can access this page from the left navigation: Integrations

What API Keys Do

API keys allow external tools to securely connect to Breezy AI.

They act as a secure authentication token that lets another system interact with your Breezy AI account.

With an API key, integrations can:

  • Retrieve service requests automatically

  • Sync contacts with your CRM

  • Trigger automations when new requests arrive

  • Send Breezy data into other tools your team uses

You don't need to understand the technical details β€” just think of an API key as a secure connection bridge between Breezy AI and another application.

Creating an API Key

To connect Breezy AI to another tool, you first need to generate an API key.

Steps to create an API key:

  1. Go to Integrations

  2. Click Create API Key

  3. Enter a descriptive name for the key

Example: Zapier Integration

  1. Copy the API key that appears

  2. Paste the key into the external tool you are connecting

Important

The full API key is only shown once when it is created, so make sure to copy and store it immediately.

Managing API Keys

You can create multiple API keys β€” typically one for each integration or tool.

This helps you manage connections and revoke access if needed.

Action

How

View a key

Click the eye icon to reveal it temporarily

Copy a key

Click the copy icon to copy it to your clipboard

Delete a key

Click the delete icon to permanently revoke access

Important

If you delete an API key, any system using that key will immediately lose access to Breezy AI.

To reconnect the integration, you will need to create a new key and update it in the external tool.

Security Best Practices

API keys provide access to your Breezy AI data, so they should be treated like passwords.

Follow these best practices:

  • Do not share API keys publicly

  • Create a separate key for each integration

  • Delete keys that are no longer being used

  • Only share keys with trusted tools or developers

Using separate keys per integration makes it easier to disable one connection without affecting others.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my API key. Can I recover it?

No. For security reasons, API keys are only shown once when they are created.

If you lose the key, delete it and generate a new one.

How many API keys can I create?

You can create multiple API keys for different integrations.
