If you're passionate about creating social impact and engaging with your community, setting up a Host profile on Glocal is your first step to making a meaningful difference. Unlike your main Glocal profile, which lets you join events as a participant, a Host profile empowers you to organize and track community engagement events. Here’s a simple guide to help you get started:

Why a Host Profile?

Your Host profile serves as the public face for all the social impact events you create. Without it you won't be able to create and track events with Glocal.

Create Your Host Profile

Navigate to the Create Host Profile option found under Track in the top navigation of Glocal's platform.

Setting Up Your Profile

1. Choose a Profile Image: Select a logo or image that embodies your events. Opting for a graphic representation is preferred over personal photos to maintain a professional appearance.

2. Name Your Profile: Short, memorable names work best. This name will be associated with your events, so choose wisely.

3. Contact Information: Provide a contact number (not public). If you represent an NGO, make sure to indicate this.

4. Update and Save: Once you've filled in all the details, click Update to save your profile.

Update anytime

Your Host profile isn’t set in stone. You can update your information whenever necessary to reflect changes or new directions in your community engagement efforts.

Benefits of a Host Profile

Track Engagement: With a Host profile, you gain access to advanced tracking options, enabling you to measure the impact of your events.

Community Building: It’s a powerful tool for rallying your community around causes you care about, fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose.
