A temporary hold, also known as a pre authorization, is not a charge.

A pre-authorization is a standard banking process. A small amount is temporarily "frozen" in your payment method to verify that the card is valid and has a balance, as a way to guarantee your booking.

The process ends when two hours after the end of the match, the system verifies that all players have paid their place individually. Then, the club collects your individual payment (in addition to the Playtomic service fee) and the rest of the money is unblocked from your original payment method.

What happens if one/more players doesn't pay their part?

If any of the remaining players haven't paid their share two hours after the match ends, the “hold” amount will cover the pending charges.

How do I see this movement in my account?

Keep in mind that depending on your bank, you will see this pre-authorization reflected as a pending charge.

What if I've booked with my Club (merchant) Wallet

In this case, the system blocks the money as well from your Wallet, but you'll see in your Wallet that we've removed the full “hold” amount. Two hours after the end of the match, the system verifies that all players have paid their share, the club then collects your share of the payment (in addition to the Playtomic service fee) and the rest of the money is refunded to your Wallet automatically.

What happens if I've canceled the booking?

If you have canceled your reservation within the club's cancellation policy, you'll receive the refund instantaneously to your original payment method (as well as the Playtomic service fee).

Does this process have any additional charges or fees?

No, the pre-authorization is a process to guarantee your booking and you will not be charged any additional fees.
