Case studies are the most powerful tool in outbound sales messaging. A message that says “we helped a company like yours achieve X result” is far more persuasive than a message that describes what you do in abstract terms.
The Lookalike agent is specifically built around case studies — it takes one case study and uses it to build outreach to similar companies. But case studies also enrich the messaging of other agents, like competitor takeout and pipeline acceleration campaigns.
How to add a case study
Go to Knowledge in the left navigation.
Click Add entry → Case study.
Choose your input method: URL (a published case study page) or Upload file (a PDF, Word document, or slide deck).
GetReplies reads the case study and generates a structured summary.
Review and edit — check that the customer name, industry, use case, and outcome are correctly extracted.
Click Mark as final when it’s ready for agents to use.
What makes a good case study entry
GetReplies extracts and uses the following elements from your case study. The more clearly these appear in your source material, the better the agent output will be:
Customer profile. Who the customer is — industry, company type, size. This helps the Lookalike agent identify similar prospects to target.
The problem. What challenge the customer was facing before they worked with you. This becomes the pain point hook in outreach messages.
The solution. What you did for them. Specific is better than vague — “we reduced their onboarding time by 40%” is better than “we improved efficiency”.
The outcome. Quantifiable results if possible — revenue impact, time saved, growth achieved. Numbers in outreach messages dramatically improve reply rates.
| 📋 Case study dossier — example entry |
Customer | Hyundai Motor Company — Automotive, Enterprise |
Problem | Sales team spending 3–4 hours per day manually sending LinkedIn connection requests and follow-up emails, with no coordination between channels |
Solution | Deployed GetReplies to automate multi-channel sequences across email and LinkedIn, with automatic cross-channel stop on first reply |
Outcome | Reply rate increased from 1.2% to 8.7% in the first month. Sales team reclaimed 15+ hours per week of prospecting time |
Industry fit | Automotive, Manufacturing, Enterprise sales |
Use case fit | Sales team productivity, multi-channel outreach, LinkedIn automation |
Note
Add each case study seperately
The campaign message generation agents by default do not get knowledge of these case studies. You have to pass this information by clicking on "+ Knowledge" and providing it to them.
What if I don’t have a published case study?
You don’t need a professionally formatted case study. A simple document or summary that answers these four questions is enough:
• Who was the customer? (industry, size, role of decision-maker)
• What problem were they facing?
• What did you do for them?
• What was the result?
Write a one-page document answering those questions and upload it as a file. GetReplies will process it exactly like a formal case study. You can also paste the content directly into the edit field after the entry is created.
