Understanding 'Booked' prospect status

How Spear determines whether a prospect has scheduled a meeting.

Written by Amir Maoz

This article explains how Spear determines whether a prospect has scheduled a meeting.

Prospects are scheduled as 'Booked' if:

1 - A meeting booking link has been integrated with Spear (Settings → Integrations → Calendly → Connect).

For example, Calendly - we automatically detect when a prospect uses it to schedule a meeting.

2 - If the meeting booking link integration is not connected, Spear can analyze the conversation history. If it detects that a meeting likely took place, a confirmation pop-up will appear asking you to verify.

3 - If the prospect's status has been changed manually

4 - Automatically, with no action from you

In specific cases — for example, the prospect mentions a meeting you already had — Spear tags the prospect as booked on its own, with no confirmation pop-up. You'll see an auto-tag: booked label on the prospect card. If you change the status manually afterward, the tag updates automatically to match.
