The Spear MCP connects your Spear account directly to Claude or ChatGPT. Instead of switching between tools, you can manage your entire outreach workflow from a single AI chat — approve or reject prospects, adjust your ICP, upload lists, export data, and write campaigns, all using plain text commands.

Prerequisites

You can also find the connection instructions directly in Spear under Org Settings → Integrations → MCP connectors

Step 1: Make sure Spear is open and active in your profile

Step 2: Go to claude.ai → Customize → Connectors

Step 3: Click "+" and then "Add custom connector"

Step 4: Fill in the fields:
• Name: Spear
• Remote MCP server URL: https://dashboard.samplead.co/api/mcp/mcp

Step 5: Click Add

Step 6: Find Spear in the connectors list, click Connect, then Authorize.

Step 1: Make sure Spear is open and active in your profile.

Step 2: Open ChatGPT in your browser (web version — not the desktop app).

Step 3: Click your account icon, then go to Settings → Apps → Advanced Settings.

Step 4: Turn on Developer Mode.

Step 5: Click Create App and fill in:
• Name: Spear
• MCP server URL: https://dashboard.samplead.co/api/mcp/mcp
• Authentication: OAuth

Step 6: Check the "I understand..." box and click Create.

Step 7: The Spear authorization page will pop up — click Authorize.

Expected result

Once connected, Spear will appear as an active tool in your Claude or ChatGPT chat. You can now approve or reject prospects, adjust your ICP, upload lists, or write campaigns using plain text commands.
