Connecting Spear to Salesforce keeps your CRM up to date automatically. Once it is set up, approved prospects are exported to Salesforce on their own, and their status stays in sync as it changes, so you do not have to move records over by hand.
Step 1: Open the integrations settings
Click the gear icon, then go to Settings > Integrations
Step 2: Authorize the connection
Click Connect to Salesforce and log in to authorize access to your Salesforce account.
Step 3: Complete the integration setup
In General settings, turn on Auto export to Salesforce:
Enable Auto export prospects.
In Export prospects from status, select the status from which exports should begin.
We also recommend enabling:
Continuously update the status field: keep prospect statuses in Salesforce in sync with Spear.
Export prospects with emails only: prevents duplicate records in your CRM.
Click Save when you are done.
Step 4: Complete the object mapping
In the Object mapping tab, choose which Salesforce fields should be populated with Spear data, then click Save.
