How do I set up my campaign sequence?

Written by Camila

Before you start, you should already have your campaign type, name, and ICP defined.

Step 1: Build your sequence

Sequences are free-form; you can add steps in any order you want. The connection request is no longer pinned to the top; it's a step you place and reorder like any other.

You can warm up a prospect with real engagement before sending the connection request by adding views, follows, likes, or endorsements first. This creates visibility and familiarity before the ask.

Click + Add step to add steps to your sequence. Available step types:

  • Profile actions: engage with the prospect's profile before or after the connection request.

  • Send connection request: Tailored (trigger-based) or Custom (same message for all)

  • Follow-up message: sent after connection is accepted. Set a delay between steps.

  • Send invite to event: paste an event URL and send it as an event invitation instead of a regular message.

Note: Follow-up message and Send invite to event are disabled until a Send connection request step is already in your sequence.

When you select Profile actions, you can toggle on the actions you want to include:

  • View LinkedIn profile — Required. Every other profile action needs a profile view first.

  • Follow LinkedIn profile

  • Like last three posts

  • Endorse top five skills

Step 2: Finalize and create: Review your sequence, then click Create Campaign in the bottom-right corner.

Step 3: Activate: Click Save and toggle the campaign on to start receiving prospect suggestions.

Want to reuse a winning sequence? Click Copy from to pull the sequence from any active campaign.

Select the profile and campaign from which you want to copy the Sequence, and press Confirm.

Messaging A/B Testing: Run two campaigns with different copy strategies to determine which drives higher engagement. Change just one variable at a time — tone, CTA, or message length — and compare results. Use Copy From to duplicate your sequence, then tweak only what you want to test.
