The Prospect Creation tab lives inside Profile Settings, alongside Configuration, LinkedIn connections, and Excluded companies. It controls the filters that decide whether a prospect gets created for this profile in the first place — not daily sending pacing or the approve/deny review flow (see Related articles below for those).
What you can configure here
Only create full ICP matches — Yes/No, the first setting on the tab. When on, only prospects that are a 100% ICP match get created; looser-fit prospects never enter the queue. Off is the default and doesn't change anything for existing profiles. Turning it on also cleans up what's already in the queue — hidden and scheduled prospects get canceled, and pending suggestions get denied.
Duplicate check scope — a prospect is flagged as a duplicate if they already exist within the selected scope: Just in this specific profile, or Entire organization (so the same person isn't prospected twice across different profiles on your team).
Create prospects from already booked companies — Yes/No. Controls whether Spear will still create a new prospect from a company you've already booked a meeting with.
Per-company prospect limit — the max number of prospects to create from any single company, set separately by company size (Small: ≤199 employees, Medium: 200-4999 employees, Large: ≥5000 employees), or toggle No limits to remove the cap entirely.
Prospect minimum connections — only creates a prospect if they have more LinkedIn connections than the number you set here (up to 500). Useful for filtering out low-activity or newer LinkedIn profiles.
