Introduction
You will see higher-quality prospects and fewer irrelevant matches because qualification rules now filter prospects before they are created or searched by triggers. This reduces manual review and speeds up campaign setup. This article explains what changed and how it affects your workflow.
What is it?
Qualification rules now run automatically in the prospecting pipeline before the trigger search and before prospect creation. Rules are still configured and edited in the agent chat.
Key benefits
Fewer low-quality prospects shown to users, saving review time.
Faster and cleaner campaign setup by preventing unwanted prospects from being created.
Clearer routing: two-stage checks separate ICP filtering from trigger evaluation.
Immediate visibility when rules block a large share of matched prospects.
How it works
The process is two-stage:
Prospect / ICP rules: Run first as a gate. They either approve or deny a prospect before creation.
Trigger rules: Run after a trigger is found. They can approve or mark a prospect for monitoring.
Prospects that do not pass the rules are not shown to users. If your rules deny 50% or more of ICP-matched prospects, you will see a warning on login with a link to per-rule statistics. If no rules are configured, the system implicitly approves prospects. Lists uploaded through the app bypass the qualification rules.
Where to manage rules
Continue to set and update rules in the agent chat; changes apply automatically in the prospecting pipeline. Review per-rule stats when you receive a denial-rate warning to adjust rules that are too strict.
