Once connected, you can message the Spear Agent directly inside a Slack channel and get answers based on your live account data — not just receive notifications.
Plan requirement: This is available on the Growth plan.
How to connect
Open your agent from the left sidebar, then go to the Tools tab.
Search for Slack ("Slack is a channel-based messaging platform") and click Connect.
On Slack's authorization screen, choose the Workspace and the Channel for webhook — Spear needs a channel to post to as an app.
Click Allow.
Note: this is a separate connection from the notifications-only "Slack" card in Settings → Integrations — that one only sends alerts (daily prospect suggestions reminder, new website visitor alert) and doesn't let you message the agent back.
How to use it
In the channel you connected, mention or message Spear Agent with a question about your account — for example, asking why a sequence isn't sending, or how many prospects were approved this week. The agent replies in-thread using your live campaign, sequence, and prospect data.
Today, treat it as a way to ask and get answers — for example, why auto-approve isn't triggering, or whether sequences run concurrently — with specific, live numbers pulled from your account. Always double-check before assuming any action (like approving a suggestion) was actually taken purely from a Slack message.
