Upload a CSV of target companies, then explicitly assign it to a campaign — uploading alone doesn't activate it.
Most common issue: completing the upload but skipping the campaign assignment step — the list gets saved but never activates in any campaign.
How to do it?
Step 1: Go to Lists in the left sidebar. Click "Create list".
Step 2: An "Import from" modal opens with 4 options — select Companies list ("Add companies to track prospects within them") and click Next.
Step 3: On the Upload List screen, enter a List name.
Upload your CSV file, then select the column containing the company domain.
File format: CSV only, max 6MB.
Identifier type: Company domain only — a valid domain is either a full URL (e.g. https://www.example.com) or just the domain address (e.g. example.com). Company name alone is not currently a supported identifier for this import type.
Credits: uploads draw from a monthly credits allowance (shown at the bottom of the screen, e.g. "5,000 of 5,000 credits remaining this month"). Credits are consumed per row uploaded, same logic as prospect list imports — a row that needs extra enrichment/lookup work consumes roughly double.
Step 4 — Campaign assignment. After uploading, you land on a Campaign assignment screen showing:
Ready to assign — count of companies ready to be assigned to campaigns
Campaigns assignment — a Select Campaign dropdown; you can choose multiple campaigns at once
Override company filters toggle — when enabled, all other company filters already configured in the selected campaign(s) are ignored, and only companies from your uploaded list are targeted. Leave it off to add your list alongside the campaign's existing company filters instead.
Excluded companies — companies excluded by organization or profile settings
Failed companies — companies with missing or invalid data
Without this step, the list will be saved in the profile but will not be active in any campaign.
Notes
Once uploaded, a list stays saved in your profile and can be reused across campaigns at any time
If you see "no lists found" inside a campaign → go to Lists first and confirm the upload was fully completed
You can filter prospects by their origin list in the Prospects page
