Every conference event now has a speakers roster. Review who is speaking, then add one or many speakers to an event campaign, or export the list to CSV.

Note: Only conference events have a speakers roster. Client-hosted events and webinars don't, because Spear finds speakers from a public conference website.

Want to reach attendees instead? When you create an event campaign, pick

Attendees in the which type of prospects dropdown and choose your attendee sources. See How to set up an Event Campaign.

Where to find it

Step 1: Go to Event Campaigns.

Step 2: Find your conference event.

Step 3: Click View speakers in the event header.

The roster opens as a full page for that event. Use the back link to return to Event Campaigns.

What you see in the roster

The header shows the event, how many speakers Spear found, and when the roster was last updated. Each speaker has one row with:

  • Name & company

  • Title

  • Speaking topic

  • Summary

Use the search box to find a specific speaker.

How to add speakers to a campaign

Step 1: Tick the checkbox next to one or more speakers. To pick everyone, use the select all checkbox, or the "select all" link to include speakers beyond the ones currently on screen.

Step 2: The search row is replaced by an actions row showing how many speakers you selected. Click Add to campaign.

Step 3: Choose a campaign. The list only shows this event's campaigns that aren't archived. Speakers are split into two sections, new connections and existing connections, and each shows its count.

Step 4: Under each section, decide how to handle them with the Approve immediately and send the message toggle:

  • On: the speaker is added to the campaign and approved, and the message goes out through the regular queue.

  • Off: the speaker goes to Monitored and follows the regular monitored flow, so you can review them first.

Step 5: Confirm to add them.

If a speaker is already in the campaign you chose, they simply stay in it. No duplicate is created.

How to export speakers to CSV

Select the speakers you want and click Export to CSV in the same actions row.

No speakers showing?

If the roster is empty, check that the event URL on your event is correct and points to the conference website. Events that already had speakers found show them right away. Events without a roster yet show the empty state while Spear keeps looking.

Use it from the agent or the Spear MCP

You can do the same without opening the roster. In the Spear agent, or in Claude or ChatGPT connected through the Spear MCP, ask to see an event's speakers and to add them to a campaign. For example: "Show me the speakers at [event name]" and "Add the speakers at [event name] to my [campaign name] campaign."
