Activate automatic messages to instantly respond to customers with a personalized message.

1️⃣ Set a generic reply for all campaigns and automations

Available in your settings: Wax WhatsApp Settings

  • Sends a standard message automatically whenever a customer contacts you manually.

  • Example message:

"Hello, thanks for your message. We will get back to you shortly."


2️⃣ Set an automatic reply for a specific flow

  • Each flow allows customers to send manual messages, making WhatsApp a direct communication channel.

  • To activate automatic replies:

    1. Go to your flow Settings

    2. Enable automatic messages (greetings message)

    3. Customize your message


3️⃣ Use a flow or template as an automatic reply

  • You can select an existing flow or template as your automatic reply.

  • Ideal for:

    • Providing richer and contextual responses

    • Managing interactions in a dedicated flow

  • “Utility” templates sent in response to a customer message remain free.


4️⃣ WhatsApp pricing & META updates (since 01/07) 💰

Key changes now in effect:

  • 24h conversation-based model removed

  • Messages sent via templates are billed per template

  • 24h window still applies for incoming messages (when the customer engages or interacts with your first template)

Current WhatsApp prices:

  • Marketing message: €11.86cts

  • Utility message: €2.5cts
