1️⃣ Create Your List or Segment in Klaviyo
Before you can schedule a campaign, start by creating your list or segment in Klaviyo. Make sure this step is completed before moving on to the next one.
👀 Ensure that all contacts in your Klaviyo list or segment have a phone number. If they don’t, WAX won’t be able to send the campaign. If there are contacts without a phone number, the campaign cost estimates will be inaccurate, as they’ll be based on the total number of people in the list, including those without a phone number.
2️⃣ Sync Your List or Segment in WAX
Once your list or segment is created in Klaviyo, go to the Audience > Lists & Segments section to check that your list is available.
If you don’t see your list immediately in WAX, you can manually sync it by clicking the "Synchronize" button. WAX updates your information every two hours. If you’ve just created the list or segment, the data may not have been fetched yet.
3️⃣ Create and Approve Your Campaign in Flow
Before scheduling the campaign, ensure that your campaign has already been created and approved in the WAX flow. The campaign content must be ready and validated before proceeding.
4️⃣ Go to the "Campaigns" Section
Once your flow is validated, go to the "Campaigns" tab in WAX.
5️⃣ Create a New Campaign
Click "New" to create a new campaign.
Give your campaign a name so you can easily identify it.
6️⃣ Choose Your Campaign Content
In the "Content" section, select the flow you want to use for your campaign.
7️⃣ Select the Audience
In the "Audience" section, you can choose from all the lists and segments you have synced with WAX.
You can check the number of contacts in your segment: The number of people in your Klaviyo list or segment will be displayed next to it. If you’ve just created a segment, the data might not be updated immediately. In that case, click "Synchronize" to get the latest information.
8️⃣ Finalize Your Campaign Scheduling
Once the audience is selected and the content is validated, you can proceed to set the send time and other campaign parameters before scheduling it.
