1️⃣ Use the Order Tracking Flow from the Library

To get started, you need to set up an order tracking flow. This will allow you to offer your customers the option to track their package directly via WhatsApp.

Steps:

  • Click on "Get Started" to begin.

  • The flow will automatically duplicate in your space, complete with a branching structure, notes, and the first version of the copy.

  • This flow will capture all events where an order tracking link is generated. Once the link is available, you’ll send the buyer a message offering them the option to track their package via WhatsApp.


💡 Legitimate Interest and Retargeting

Within this flow, you are acting within the bounds of legitimate interest, which allows you to retarget someone who has just completed a purchase (at the bottom of the marketing funnel).

Remember: You cannot retarget this person through advertising campaigns without obtaining explicit opt-in consent.

How to collect the opt-in? Offer the buyer the opportunity to join your WhatsApp club through an invitation message when they are tracking their order.


2️⃣ Offer to Join the WhatsApp Club

On average, about 35% of people will respond positively to the offer to track their package via WhatsApp. They will then receive their tracking link. You’ll need to check if they are already a member of your WhatsApp club. If the buyer is not a member, offer them the opportunity to join your WhatsApp club to receive other marketing communications.


3️⃣ Welcome Message in the Club

Take advantage of the welcome message in the WhatsApp club to provide maximum added value to your buyers. At this moment, they are at their peak level of interest in your brand: they have just completed a purchase and received their tracking link.

This is the perfect opportunity to enhance their post-purchase experience.

Share usage or maintenance guides for your products, and don’t hesitate to use PDF format, which can be easily shared via WhatsApp.

The goal is to provide them with an exceptional experience, even before they receive their package, ensuring a truly 5-star customer journey.


4️⃣ Case of Customers Preferring to Track by Email

Some customers may prefer to track their package by email rather than WhatsApp. For these customers, you can still offer them the chance to join your WhatsApp club, even if they declined the WhatsApp tracking option. This might seem counterintuitive, but many customers simply want email tracking and are open to joining a WhatsApp group for additional benefits (around 15%).


This order confirmation flow is an excellent way to continuously collect WhatsApp opt-ins. You gather information while the buyer is still engaged and create future communication opportunities via WhatsApp, all while providing value to your customers.
