Adding your Giftbit Visa to your digital wallet makes online payments faster and allows you to use it for in-store purchases where contactless payments are accepted. Here’s how to get set up.

How to Add Your Giftbit Visa to a Virtual Wallet

Giftbit offers two types of Visa cards, and both can be added to Apple Pay, Google Wallet, or Samsung Wallet. The main difference is how you add them—some cards have a button that lets you add them instantly (push to wallet), while others need to be added manually.​

Push to Wallet (if supported)

If this option is not available to you, move to the manual instructions below.

  1. Open the card link on your phone.

  2. Tap the "Add to Wallet" button (the appearance may vary).

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Manual Entry

If push-to-wallet isn’t available or you’re adding the card from a desktop, follow these steps:

  1. Open your wallet app (Apple Pay, Google Wallet, or Samsung Wallet).

  2. Select Add Card:

    • Google Wallet (Instructions): “Add to Wallet” → “Payment Card”

    • Apple Pay (Instructions): Tap “+” → “Debit/Credit Card”

    • Samsung Wallet (Instructions): “Add Card” → “Payment Cards”

  3. Scan your card or select Add Manually and enter the card number, expiry, and CVV.

  4. Follow the app’s steps to complete the process.

Verification & Support

You may need to verify your identity via email, SMS, or phone call when adding your card. Phone verification is available during business hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM (PT). Calls outside business hours will be handled the next business day.

💡Some retailers may require a PIN when making a purchase. If you claimed your card before May 21st, 2025 and want to set a pin, reach out to Giftbit support (cardsupport@giftbit.com) to have your PIN set up!
