Home is where every session starts.
It's the first thing you see when you log in, and one click away from anywhere else in Giraffe. From Home you can jump into any project or space you have access to, start something new from a template, and reach every other library in your workspace — files, apps, content packs, and more.
Your workspace welcome
The logo, name, and welcome message at the top of Home are set by your workspace admin in Workspace Settings — ask them if you'd like it changed.
Start with a template
If your workspace has any template projects, they appear here as a row of cards. Every workspace starts with three default templates:
Mixed Use — a mixed-use development starting point
Multi Family — a multi-family residential starting point
Industrial — an industrial development starting point
Your workspace admin can add more templates alongside these or remove the defaults if they don't fit how your team works.
Click a template card to start a new project from that template.
Click Blank project to create a project from nothing, or New space to create a space.
Projects & Spaces
Below the templates, the browser lists every project and space you have at least view access to.
Projects / Spaces tabs — switch between your projects and your spaces. Spaces are only available on Enterprise workspaces.
Search — filter the list by name as you type.
Gallery / Table view — toggle between thumbnail cards and a sortable table.
Sort — in table view, click the Name or Created column to sort; click again to reverse it.
Open — double-click a project or space, or use its Open button.
Rename — right-click, or use the ••• menu, and choose Rename.
Delete — right-click, or use the ••• menu, and choose Delete. Only project admins can delete a project.
Star a space — on the Spaces tab, star one to make it your default space.
Home only shows what you can access — projects where you only have guest-level access won't appear here.
Everywhere else from Home
The sidebar on the left stays with you throughout the Home space:
Projects — the full, spreadsheet-style list of every project you can access.
Templates — control which projects appear in the "Start with a template" row above.
Layout Templates — the saved panel arrangements your team reuses across projects and spaces.
Files — logos, images, and 3D models used across your projects.
Content Packs — reusable content shared into your workspace.
Apps — custom apps hosted in your workspace (Enterprise only).
If you administer your workspace, a second group sits at the bottom of the sidebar:
Settings — your workspace's logo, name, welcome message, and other workspace-wide settings.
Members — invite, edit, and remove workspace members.
Teams — group members into teams to share projects and templates with all of them at once.
Properties — define the custom project properties that show up as columns on Manage Projects (Enterprise only).
Credentials — manage stored API keys and credentials used by your apps and integrations.
This group only appears for workspace admins, and is hidden entirely on Core-tier workspaces.
