Project details header actions

The trash icon deletes the project from Sites.
Deleting a project in Sites hides it in Sites only. The project stays in your Giraffe workspace.
Edit project fields
Click a field and change its value. Sites saves the change when you leave the field and shows ✓ Saved. If a save fails, the field goes back to its old value and shows an error.
Some fields can't be edited, such as the project id, parcel fields, and fields whose names start with an underscore.
Workspace properties and Sites-only fields
A project in Sites can hold two kinds of fields.
Workspace properties are defined once for your whole workspace. Every project has them. Each one has a type, such as number, date, or dropdown, so values stay consistent. Workspace properties also work across Giraffe, such as in Portfolio Layer filters and styles. Learn more about workspace properties.
Sites-only fields are extra values saved on one project, such as a column kept from a CSV import. They have no type or dropdown options, and other projects don't have them.
Use a workspace property for anything you compare across projects, such as status, stage, owner, price, or site area. Use a workspace property for any field you group the Pipeline by, filter on, or total. Use a Sites-only field for one-off details that only matter for a single project.
Click Workspace only in project details to show only workspace properties. Empty workspace properties appear too, so you can fill them in. Click it again to show every field.
To add a workspace property, import a CSV column as a New workspace property in Import Data in Sites, or create workspace properties in Home.
Choose which fields project details show
Click Edit fields to open the Project property groups editor.
Quick fields appear at the top of project details. Pin the 2 to 5 fields you check first.
Groups collect related fields under a heading.
Click Apply workspace groups to use your workspace's standard groups.
Fields that aren't in Quick fields or a group are hidden in project details.
Projects saved from Regrid parcels show Live Regrid fields. These fields load the latest parcel data from Regrid each time you open the project.
Notes and tasks in project details
Project details has a Notes section and a Tasks section for keeping track of a deal. Learn how to add notes, add tasks, and tag tasks with @ in Notes and Tasks in Sites.
Add attachments to a project
Click + Add under Attachments to upload a file to the project. To remove an attachment, open the project in Giraffe.
