When someone leaves your company, you want them off every site and feasibility study they worked on, as well as off your seat count. Removing a member from the Members list frees their seat and removes them from the workspace. It doesn't remove them from teams or from projects shared with them. Follow all three steps below to cut off their access completely.
You need to be a Workspace Admin to follow these steps. Learn more about member permissions.
What a removed member keeps
Removing someone from the Members list doesn't delete their Giraffe account. They can still log in, and Giraffe gives them a free 14-day trial workspace of their own. While that trial is active, they can still open:
Anything shared with a team they're still in.
Any project or space shared with them directly, at the access level it was shared.
Projects they created, where they stay as an admin.
Their content stays in your workspace. Projects and layers they made aren't deleted.
Step 1: Remove their project access
Remove the member from every project shared with them, including projects they created. Bulk share removes them from many projects at once.
On Home, open Projects.
Turn on the Audit toggle to see every project in the workspace.
Select all the projects.
Click Share. The Bulk share window lists everyone with access to the selected projects.
Find the member's email and click the Bin icon next to it.
Click Remove access to confirm.
To remove them from one project only, open the project and click the Share icon in the top bar. Click the Bin icon next to their email, then click Delete to revoke access. Spaces shared with them directly work the same way from the space's Share icon.

Step 2: Remove them from every team
Remove the member from each team they're in. A team membership still gives them access to everything shared with that team, even after they leave the workspace.
Click the workspace menu in the top left. Under Manage Workspace, choose Teams.
Click the Pencil icon next to a team they're in.
Click the Bin icon next to their email.
Click Delete to confirm.
Repeat this for each team they're in. Learn more about removing members from a team.
Step 3: Remove them from the workspace
Remove the member from the Members list last. This frees their seat.
Click the workspace menu in the top left. Under Manage Workspace, choose Members.
Search for their email.
Click the Bin icon next to their name.
Click Delete to confirm.
