Adjust Time and Date of your project to change the sun angle, accurately. The shadow length and direction reflects an accurate preview based on the date and time selected.
Time
Move the horizontal line Up and Down to change the time of day.
🌜 Hint: Change the time to Midnight to completely turn off shadows.
Date
Move the Vertical bar side to side to change the date.
You can also click “Winter Solstice” to default the date/time setting to the solstice for your hemisphere. The Solar app is aware of if the project is in the Northern or Southern hemisphere, and reports Winter Solstice accurately.
Save the time and date to your project by clicking the save icon
💡The date and time you select will display on the map. This is the time and date for all of your views and affects the shadows throughout your project.
