For nonprofits not yet registered with Chariot, DAFpay utilizes the DAFpay Network ("DPN"), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to simplify charitable donations while ensuring legal compliance in fund distribution. DPN currently only supports U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofits.
Nonprofits looking to receive DAF gifts should register through the Chariot portal.
Note: In cases where a nonprofit loses its 501(c)(3) status during the processing of a donation, DPN has a system in place for redirecting funds. Donors are informed and can choose a new beneficiary from DPN's directory. If the donor does not provide new instructions, DPN will allocate the donation to a similar organization within its network.
