Once a fundraising page has been created on givestar, the charity selection are locked and cannot be changed. This applies even if:
No donations have been made yet
The page hasn't been shared yet
The charity was selected by mistake
This is because donations are routed directly to the selected charity for compliance and reporting purposes.
What can I do if I've chosen the wrong charity?
The best option is to delete your existing page and create a new one with the correct charity selected. Your new page will be ready to share straight away.
Go to givestar.io and sign in
Go to Your Fundraising and open your page
Click Edit Page → scroll to the bottom and select Delete Page

What if my page already has donations on it?
If donations have already been made to your page, deleting it isn't straightforward — those donations are already allocated to the charity you selected. Contact us at support@givestar.io and we'll advise on the best course of action.
Can I change my charity before the page is live?
Yes — if you're still in the setup flow and haven't completed your page yet, you can go back and select a different charity before clicking Create.
