Understanding the Fundraising Pages report in Charity Admin

How to track every fundraising page raising for your charity in Charity Admin — including split pages, page owners, statuses and unclaimed pages.

This article is for charity admin users only. You'll need to have been added as an admin on your charity's givestar account to access this report.

Finding the Fundraising Pages report

  1. Select Fundraising Pages from the left-hand menu

  2. You'll see every page raising money for your charity — both pages raising for you alone and pages split with other charities

Viewing a page's details

Click a page's ID to open its full details. You'll see:

  • The page owner's details and the page description

  • A list of the page's donations, with the gross value of each

  • Exchange rates, for any donations made in another currency

  • The payout statement each donation was included in

Who owns the page?

The Owner type column shows who created the page:

  • Charity — a page your charity created in Charity Admin

  • Supporter — a page a fundraiser created on givestar.io or the givestar app

  • Unknown — the fundraiser has deleted their givestar account. The page and its donations stay on the report, but owner details are no longer available

What do the page statuses mean?

  • Active — the page is live and can receive donations

  • Archived — the page has ended and is no longer active

How do split fundraising pages work?

Fundraisers can split a page between several charities using Split Donate. For these pages, the report automatically works out your charity's share (by default an even split unless otherwise requested by the fundraiser)

  • Charity count — how many charities the page is split between

  • Percentage split — the share of donations going to your charity

  • Charity target — your share of the page's overall target

  • Charity amount raised — your share of the total raised so far

For example, if a page has raised £1,000 and is split equally between two charities, your percentage split is 50% and your charity amount raised is £500.

What does "Account claimed" mean?

Some fundraising pages are created automatically when someone signs up to an event through one of our partners, such as a race entry. The Account claimed column shows whether that fundraiser has activated their givestar account and taken ownership of their page.

Fundraisers who claim their page are more likely to personalise and share it. To encourage more fundraisers to claim, use the Fundraising activation link report — see How to create and save Custom Reports in Charity Admin.
