If you have activated a gift card and wish to undo the activation, so that you can either activate a gift card that does not require Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, or donate the amount, do the following:
Go to the gift link you received together with the gift.
Find and tap “Undo activation”.
The button is only visible if the gift card is activated and the activation has not been undone previously.
Complete the process.
Once the activation has been undone, the gift card will be emptied and the gift will be reset to its original state. You will then have 4 months to either activate a new gift card or donate the amount.
