What are Rewards?

Rewards are GoJoe’s and your organisation’s way of appreciating your efforts toward living a healthy and active life.

By logging activities on GoJoe, you accumulate points that can be used to redeem vouchers from a variety of popular brands. You can collect points up to the monthly limit, which is visible in the Locker > Rewards section of the app.

Once you’ve accumulated enough points, you can redeem vouchers in the Locker > Rewards > Redeem tab.

You can view your points history, including earned and spent points, in the Locker > Rewards > History tab. Your current reward points balance is always visible in the top-right corner of the app.

When do users start earning reward points?

By default, users start earning reward points once they become a premium GoJoe user. Currently, the only way to access GoJoe Premium is through an organisation (such as an employer or brand). However, organisations have the option to disable rewards.

How can I collect points?

Reward points are automatically added based on the activities you log. The number of points awarded depends on the activity type, duration, and distance.

You can log activities in the following ways:

  • Sync a wearable device: Connect your wearable to automatically sync workouts with GoJoe. Go to Side Menu (tap your profile picture in the top left) > Settings > Applications and Devices to set this up.

  • Use the in-app GPS tracker: Tap the + button > Record Activity to track workouts directly in the app.

  • Manually add activities: Tap the + button > Manual Activity to log a workout manually.

How is activity converted into reward points?

By default, reward points are earned in the same amount as activity points, rounded down to the nearest whole number. Details on how activity points are calculated can be found here.

If an organisation contributes additional reward funds, the reward points earned per activity and the monthly cap are multiplied proportionally with the funding.

How many reward points can users earn per month, and what’s the monetary value?

Users can earn up to 200 reward points per month, equivalent to £1 (or a similar converted value in other currencies) via the standard GoJoe rewards option. Organisations can contribute additional reward funds for their users, increasing the total number of points they can earn.

What’s the minimum voucher value for redemption?

Voucher values depend on each brand featured in the Rewards section. For most brands, the minimum voucher value is £5 (or a similar converted value in other currencies). Tap on each brand to view the available voucher options.

Who can redeem rewards?

Rewards can only be redeemed by GoJoe users with a Premium subscription provided through their organisation.

What can I do with the points I collect?

In the Locker > Rewards > Redeem tab, you can explore a variety of brands to redeem vouchers from. You can filter brands by category, type, or location to find what suits you best.

Each brand offers multiple voucher options of varying values, allowing you to choose how you want to redeem your points.

How do I redeem vouchers?

To redeem a voucher:

1. Go to Locker > Rewards > Redeem.

2. Select a brand.

3. Choose the voucher value you wish to redeem.

4. Tap Redeem.

You’ll receive your voucher shortly via email.

What happens to my points if I leave my organisation?

You can redeem your points as long as your organisation maintains its partnership with GoJoe and you remain part of that organisation on the platform. However, once your organisation requests your removal, you will no longer be able to redeem rewards.

Do my points expire?

Points expire when your organisation’s partnership with GoJoe ends.

What should I do if I don’t receive my voucher?

If you’ve redeemed a voucher but haven’t received it via email, please contact GoJoe support for assistance. You can reach us through the Live Chat Support feature in the app. To access it, click on your profile picture in the top-left corner, and select Live Chat Support.

What if some users can’t participate in certain activities due to disabilities?

GoJoe is designed to be inclusive, offering over 50+ different activity types, including options tailored for those with disabilities (e.g., wheelchair sports, handcycling). All activity types are eligible to earn reward points. For more details on how GoJoe promotes inclusivity, click here.

Do you need to be a premium user to redeem rewards?

Yes, only premium users (those in an organisation with an active GoJoe partnership) can redeem rewards.

What happens if someone leaves the organisation?

If a user leaves the organisation, you can remove them via the Business Manager to prevent them from redeeming rewards. Alternatively, contact your Implementation Manager for assistance.

How can an organisation ‘top up’ the rewards pot?

If your organisation wishes to contribute additional rewards for its users, please contact your Implementation Manager to discuss the available options. This can be done when setting up a new contract with GoJoe or at any point during an existing contract.

Can organisations switch off rewards?

Yes, organisations can disable rewards for their users or for specific regions. Please contact your Implementation Manager to configure these settings.

Can organisations exclude specific rewards or brands?

Yes, if you would prefer certain brands not to appear for users in your organisation, they can be excluded. Please contact your Implementation Manager to set these preferences.

How can an admin check the rewards balance?

If you’re an admin of an organisation that partners with GoJoe and need insights on rewards balance, points earned/redeemed, or performance data, contact your Implementation Manager to request a report.

What happens to reward points when a premium account expires?

Users can only redeem reward points while their organisation’s premium partnership with GoJoe is active. This means users need to have an active premium account to redeem points. Currently, the only way to access GoJoe Premium is through an organisation, such as an employer or brand. By default, any unredeemed reward points will expire when the premium account ends, which occurs when the contract between GoJoe and the organisation comes to an end.

What happens when an organisation’s challenge licence expires?

Reward points can be redeemed only while the GoJoe licence is active. For challenge licences, points must be redeemed within the 2-month licence period.

Can unused reward funds be reimbursed to the organisation?

If agreed between GoJoe and your organisation, unused reward funds may, at GoJoe’s discretion, roll over to a new premium contract with the same organisation. However, by default, any funds not used by the end of the organisation’s contract with GoJoe cannot be reimbursed or redeemed by users who no longer have a premium account.
