Once you receive notification that a special order has shipped, you can optionally enter the shipping details to track the special order from the Special Order Dashboard on a computer or when using the Mobile and iPad apps. Once the shipping details are entered into the special order Golf Genius - Golf Shop will automatically:
Send a notification with shipping details to the customer (if enabled)
Move the order to delivered prompting a delivery notification (if enabled)

Entering Shipping Details
To do this, follow these instructions:
Navigate to Orders > Special Orders > Dashboard.
Select "Enter Shipping" for a special order in the "Orders Placed" stage (as shown below).
Enter the following information:
Vendor Confirmation Number: Enter Vendor Confirmation Number (if it hasn't been entered yet).
Expected Ship Date: Enter the expected ship date (if available). If the order is still in the "Orders Placed" stage 7 days after the expected ship date, and no tracking number is entered, you will receive an overdue shipping alert on the dashboard.
Expected Delivery Date: Enter the expected delivery date (if available).
Shipping Company: Select the shipping company.
Tracking Number: Enter the tracking number (if available). If entered, the order can automatically be moved to the "Delivered" stage once it is delivered by the shipping company. To view more details on this transition setting, Click Here.
If this action is for a multi-item order, select the relevant items.
Go to the "Notifications" tab, review the notification settings for the customer, and make any changes (if necessary).
Click "Confirm".
The sequence below shows the process of entering shipping details:
Automated Notification
After entering the shipping details (expected delivery date, shipping company, or tracking number), the customer will then receive an email notification (if enabled) and text message notification (if enabled) confirming that their order has shipped.
The default notification includes the shipping company and tracking number. You can further customize the automated notification to include a personalized message to the individual by clicking on "Edit this specific message." For more details on customizing notifications on the fly, Click Here.
For automated emails, you can view the Email Delivery Report to ensure emails were delivered successfully and identify those that were not. Click Here for more details.
Viewing Shipping Information
If you've entered the tracking number for the special order, the dashboard will display the latest shipping information for the order. Hover over the "In Transit" label to view the shipping details (as shown below).
Note: Shipping details are periodically updated which may cause a delay in status updates.
To access the shipping company's tracking page, click "Shipped" for the special order in the "Orders Placed" stage and select "Click for tracking" (as shown below). You will then be directed to the shipping companies website to view the tracking information.
