Once a club repair is entered into Golf Genius - Golf Shop, it is then ready to be started by a technician or sent to an offsite repair vendor. When the technician starts the repair or the club is sent off, the order is then ready to be moved to the "Repairs in Progress" stage in the Club Repair Dashboard.
Starting a Club Repair:
To start a club repair, follow these instructions:
Go to Services > Club Repair > Dashboard, find the repair in the "Repairs Entered" stage you would like to start, and click "Next."
Select from one of the following club repair status updates:
In Progress: You can set the club repair to in progress if the repair is being performed offsite or is a longer repair that will take a few days onsite. In this case, the customer will receive notifications that the club repair process has been started. The repair will be moved to the "Repairs in Progress" stage on the dashboard.
Completed: If the club repair is a quick job that may only take a day, such as a regrip for 1 or 2 clubs, the repair does not need to be sent to the "Repairs in Progress" stage on the dashboard, and you can choose the option "Completed." When choosing this option, the customer will receive a notification that the repair has been completed and ready for pickup. The repair will be moved to the "Repairs Completed" stage, waiting to be finalized on the dashboard.
After setting the status for the club repair and updating notifications (if necessary), click "Update Club Repair" (as shown below).
Automated Notification:
The customer will also receive an email notification (if enabled) and text message notification (if enabled) confirming that their repair is in progress or completed. You can customize the automated notification to include a personalized message to the individual by clicking "Edit this specific message."
