Goose pricing is designed to be straightforward and scale with your business. Your base subscription gives you access to the Goose platform, including tools for online booking, customer management, email marketing, revenue management, memberships and packages, reporting, and more.
This article covers some of the details behind our pricing, including messaging and email usage, optional add-ons, and the refundable deposit collected during implementation. For the latest plan pricing and a full comparison, visit the Goose pricing page.
What are the Goose pricing plans?
Goose currently offers three plans:
Basics: $200/month for locations managing fewer than 30 pets at a time.
Professional: $300/month for larger or growing locations managing more than 30 pets.
Enterprise: Custom pricing for larger, multi-location organizations with more complex needs.
All Goose plans support multiple services, including boarding, daycare, grooming, training, and retail. There are no limits on the number of users you can add, and Goose does not limit the number of customers, pets, or reservations you can store.
All standard Goose plans are month-to-month and do not require a long-term contract.
What is included with my Goose subscription?
Your exact features depend on your plan, but Goose subscriptions include the core tools needed to run your business, including:
Multi-service management
Real-time online booking
Customer and pet management
Email marketing
AI workflow automation
Revenue management tools
Memberships and packages
Reporting and analytics
Customer support
Professional and Enterprise plans also include additional capabilities designed for larger and multi-location businesses.
Some specialized features have separate add-on fees, which are covered below.
How much does SMS and MMS messaging cost?
SMS and MMS Messaging is an optional $50/month add-on.
The add-on includes 1,000 SMS or MMS messages per month. If you use more than 1,000 messages, each additional block of 1,000 messages costs $20.
For example:
800 messages: $50
1,500 messages: $70
2,000 messages: $70
2,500 messages: $90
You do not need to estimate your usage in advance or manually purchase additional messaging capacity.
How does Goose count SMS messages?
We count messages, not SMS segments.
Some providers break longer text messages into multiple SMS segments and bill for each segment separately. Goose does not. If you send one SMS through Goose, it counts as one message against your monthly allowance, regardless of how many carrier segments are required to deliver it.
The same applies to MMS. One MMS sent through Goose counts as one message.
What happens if I use more than my included SMS/MMS messages?
Don't worry, nothing gets shut off if you use more than your allotment.
Messaging usage is calculated after the month ends. If your business exceeds the 1,000 messages included with the add-on, we bill for the additional 1,000-message blocks your actual usage reached.
This means a busy month or an unexpectedly successful marketing campaign will not cause Goose to stop sending messages halfway through the month. You simply pay for the additional capacity you actually used.
Are transactional and marketing messages counted differently?
No. Transactional and marketing messages count toward the same monthly allowance.
A reservation confirmation, reminder, vaccine notification, or marketing campaign each counts toward your total SMS/MMS usage in the same way.
How much email is included?
Every Goose subscription includes 20,000 emails per month.
If you send more than 20,000 emails during a month, additional email capacity is billed in blocks of 10,000 emails for $20 per block.
For example, if you send 24,000 emails during a month, you would use the 20,000 emails included with your subscription plus one additional 10,000-email block for $20.
Like SMS/MMS, you only pay for additional capacity when your actual usage requires it.
What features have additional fees?
Most of the functionality businesses use to operate in Goose is included with their subscription. A handful of specialized features are available as paid add-ons.
These include:
SMS/MMS Messaging
Reputation Management
Ad Attribution
Automated Exports
Add-on availability may vary by plan. Current pricing for publicly listed add-ons can be found on the Goose pricing page.
Is there an implementation fee?
Goose does not charge a traditional implementation fee. Instead, we collect a $500 refundable deposit when you begin implementation. The timing of the deposit depends on how your business is getting started with Goose:
Businesses migrating from another system: The deposit is billed when we deliver your Goose sandbox.
New businesses without data to migrate: The deposit is billed when you go live with Goose.
The deposit is returned 90 days after your business goes live on Goose.
Why does Goose collect a $500 deposit?
Implementing a new operating system requires work from both Goose and your team. For businesses migrating from another platform, that can include data migration, configuration, testing, training, and reviewing the sandbox before launch.
The refundable deposit helps keep the implementation process moving and ensures both teams stay engaged in getting your business live within a reasonable timeframe. It is not an additional cost of using Goose. Assuming your implementation moves forward and you go live, the full $500 is returned 90 days after go-live.
