Secret Products allows you to create rules and scenarios for target different customers with different offerings. You can keep it simple with rules like 'visible to customers who are logged in', or narrow the targeting further by adding tags.
How to set up Secret Products
Go to Tag Library > Create a new tag > Secret Products
Select "Secret Product".
You are then presented with the interface to control your product(s).
Select your products or choose a collection that you want to apply this to.
Select your segment
When it comes to customer eligibility, you have a range of options - each starts with with your want to make the products visible, or hidden to the selected segment.
All Customers - anyone who visits the website whether they are logged in or out will be able to see the products.
Logged in customers - anyone logged in will be able to access the products.
Logged in customers tagged with - this is where you can limit access to customers who have a single, or range of tags against their customer profile.
Logged in customer with order history - you have the option here to select how much the customer needs to have previously spent, or how many orders they need to have placed - this is perfect to set up a first time purchase bonus, or even a VIP option.
Customers from specific countries - whether you want to include or exclude these products, you can choose based on any country.
Members - these are customers who are a member of a specific loyalty tier you have created within your loyalty program in Roadmap.
Non-members - exclude any loyalty members from accessing these products.
Tags sync across Roadmap features
Any tags that you use in Roadmap will be available across all of the features - you can see in the screenshot below that when we click into the tags area, tags that are used elsewhere in the app appear - this means admin users don't need to remember all the tags they have used, but simply select the ones they want to use again.
This is perfect for cross and stacked promotions and campaigns where there are multiple triggers and scenarios setup.
Scheduling start and end dates
For each campaign you create, you can schedule a start date and an end date. If you don't set an end date, then the campaign will run forever.
By selecting an end date, you can choose what happens after this date.
For example, let's say you want to have a product(s) that is exclusive for a segment of customers for 24 hours, then you can schedule the end time to be 24 hours after the start.
You can then choose if you want this product(s) to be available to everyone else, or hidden.
