Getting to know your Automation Overview.

Automations are our bread & butter, as some might say. To help you better understand the Automations Dashboard, let's dive in!

Total Executions

The number you see next to Total Executions includes all automations that are scheduled, attempted, and completed for the whole team, but doesn’t necessarily mean they succeeded!

Essentially, executions are the number of times the automation has been attempted.

For example if a candidate met the criteria of the automation at the time it was scheduled, but no longer meets the criteria for the automation right before it’s supposed to send, we would attempt to send the message, they would no longer meet the criteria, and in turn, the execution wouldn’t succeed.

Last 30 Days

The number of times an automation has been attempted in the last 30 days, by everyone on the team.

Active Automations

The total number of currently active automations in your team's Grayscale account.

Managing Your Automations

Beneath your Automations Overview, you'll see the list of Active Automations. By default, the filters are set as follows:

  • Status: Active

  • Job: All Jobs

  • Event: All events

  • Creator: Anyone

You can change the filters on any and all of those categories to find what you're looking for :)

Individual Automations

When looking at your individual automation executions, you'll see # EXEC, which will show you the total number of attempted executions, they may not necessarily be successful ones.

At-A-Glance

Each automation will display the job and stage it is configured for, as well as the name of the user who created it.

To look into a specific automation's setup, click on the down arrow in the right bottom corner to expand your view.

With your automation view expanded, you can now see more specific details such as Followers - who are assigned as followers to these conversations, Conditions - which Job and/or Stage the candidate must be in to meet the criteria, Follow-up - any nudges that have been added to the automation, and Actions - what message will be sent to those who do meet the criteria.

That's a wrap!
