If you’ve had a great experience with a lawn service you hired with your free GreenPal account and want to ensure your mowing continues without interruption, here’s how you can manage and modify your service schedule directly through your GreenPal account.
Step 1: Check Your Current Schedule
Access Your Appointments: Log into your GreenPal account and go to "My Appointments" in the menu. Here, you can review both your upcoming and past or paid appointments to see what is currently scheduled.
Step 2: Modify or Set Up a New Mowing Schedule
Adjust Frequency or Dates: If you want to change the frequency of your service from biweekly to weekly, or need to set a new start and end date, click the orange button labeled "Book ongoing mowings."
Select Dates: Choose your desired start and end dates for the service. This will overwrite any previous schedule settings.
Step 3: Communicate with Your Lawn Service Provider
Send a Text Message: It’s a good idea to send a text message to the lawn care provider you’ve hired to confirm they can accommodate your updated schedule and give them a heads-up about any changes. This helps ensure their smooth service delivery to you.
Important Considerations
Service Window: Due to weather, traffic, and equipment issues, lawn care providers generally have a 3-day window to service your lawn—this could be the day before, the day of, or the day after your scheduled date.
Seasonal Booking: All Lawn care companies require bookings for the entire lawn-cutting season. Make sure to set your end date sometime in October or November.
