If you want to pay your lawn service for extra yard work, their tall grass surcharge, or simply give them a tip directly, you can easily do this with your free GreenPal account. Here’s how to manage your additional payments or tips that you send directly to your lawn company.
Steps to Tip or Pay for Extra Work
Receive Completed Work Email: Once the lawn service completes your work, you will receive an email with the details of your completed job.
Log In to Your Account: You can log in to your GreenPal account on the website (not the mobile app). Go to yourgreenpal.com and click "Login" in the upper right-hand corner.
Add Extra Payment or Tip:
Click the blue link in your account that says, "Any extra work to pay for? Or Want to tip them?"
Enter the extra amount you would like to pay.
Click the orange button to process the payment.
Timing: Make sure to add the tip or extra payment within the same day of receiving the completed work email. After 12 hours, your lawn care company will automatically bill you directly for their lawn service.
Did you miss the Window? If you miss the window, you can always add the extra amount or tip to the next service, or you can go to "My GreenPal" in your menu and send them a bonus payment directly from that screen at any time you like.
