The Media Library is a centralized place to store images and videos that can be used across your studio — attached to skills, lesson plans, and more. It is available as a paid add-on under the Premium plan and is accessible via Manage Studio > Media Library in the left sidebar.
Storage & Subscription
The Media Library is a subscription-based add-on. Your available storage is determined by your chosen plan tier. A storage usage bar at the top of the page shows how much of your capacity has been used.
You can upgrade your plan, change tiers, or cancel the add-on at any time using the Change Plan and Cancel Addon buttons. Note that cancelling the add-on will permanently delete all media stored in your library.
If a payment for your Media Library subscription fails, a warning banner will appear showing the date by which payment must be made. If payment is not resolved in time, your media files will be deleted.
Organizing Your Library
The library uses a folder system to keep your media organized. You start at the Home level and can create as many folders and sub-folders as you need.
Creating a Folder Click New Folder, enter a name (up to 30 characters), and press Enter or click Create.
Navigating Folders Click into any folder to view its contents. A breadcrumb trail at the top shows your current location (e.g., Home > Warm Ups > Videos) and lets you jump back to any level.
Renaming Folders Click the edit (pencil) icon on any folder card to rename it inline.
Deleting Folders Click the trash icon on a folder card. Deleting a folder permanently deletes all media inside it as well.
Uploading Media
Supported file types:
Videos: MP4, MOV, WEBM
Images: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, BMP
To upload:
Navigate to the folder where you want the media to live.
Click Upload Media and select one or more files from your device.
The files are added to an uploads queue. Before uploading, you can edit the title of each file (up to 30 characters) or remove any files from the queue.
Click Upload All to begin. A progress bar shows the upload status of each file.
Once uploads are complete, click Clear to dismiss the queue. Your files now appear in the library.
Files that don't match the supported formats will be skipped automatically.
Managing Media
Renaming Click a media item's title directly in the library table to edit it inline. Press Enter or click Save to confirm.
Deleting Click Delete on any media row. You'll be asked to confirm before it's permanently removed and the storage is freed.
Moving Select one or more items using the checkboxes, then click Move to.... A folder browser opens so you can navigate to the destination folder and click Move here.
Bulk Operations Use the checkboxes to select multiple items — media files and folders — at once. When items are selected, a toolbar appears with options to Move to..., Delete, or Clear the selection. A "Select all" checkbox in the media table header selects all items in the current folder.
Searching Use the search bar to find media by title across all folders. Results display with their folder path shown, so you can see exactly where each file lives. Folder navigation is hidden during search — clear the search to return to browsing.
Using Media in Skills
Skills are structured lists of techniques or moves that students can work toward in your classes. Each individual skill can have images and videos attached to it from your Media Library.
To attach media to a skill:
Go to the skill list and open a skill for editing.
Click Select images/videos (or Manage Media if media is already attached).
A media picker opens with the same folder navigation and search as the main library. Browse to the files you want and select them — you can select multiple.
Click Done. The selected media appears below the skill as thumbnail previews.
To remove individual files, click Remove on the thumbnail. To clear all attached media at once, click Clear all.
Media attached to skills is visible to students in the student-facing app, alongside the skill name and description.
Using Media in Lesson Plans
Lesson plans let you document what you plan to cover in a specific class session. Each lesson plan is tied to a class and a date, so you can build out session-by-session content for your schedule.
To attach media to a lesson plan:
Open a scheduled class and navigate to the lesson plan for a specific date.
Under Attach from Media Library (optional), click Select images/videos.
Browse or search for media in the picker and select the files you want to attach.
Click Done. Thumbnails of the selected media appear in the lesson plan.
To remove a file, click Remove on its thumbnail.
Lesson plan content — including attached media — is for studio staff only and is not visible to students.
