Understanding Stripe Transaction Fees
You can find Stripe fees under Account > Tax and Fees. While (at the time of writing) the platform processing fee is fixed at 1%, Stripe fees vary by country. Here is a summary of Stripe’s transaction fees by region:
Australia: 1.75% + $0.30
Canada: 2.9% + $0.30
France: 1.5% + €0.25
Germany: 1.5% + €0.25
Italy: 1.5% + €0.25
New Zealand: 2.7% + $0.30
Spain: 1.5% + €0.25
United Kingdom: 1.5% + £0.20
United States: 2.9% + $0.30
These fees are automatically applied to transactions based on the student's country, with platform fees and Stripe fees displayed in your account.
