Why do I have a 5- or 30-hour limit?

For users who bring up having a recording limit when they thought they were going to get unlimited hours.

Written by H-M Teo

If you get a pop up saying you're close to or have reached your recording limit, you will have to order at least three hours worth of notes to get that limit reset.

You have that limit because you are on a Demo account, even if you are part of a school. It's the administrators who designate plan types. If you would like unlimited recordings (along with some other features), you'll have to speak to your accommodations office to buy you a license.

How do I find out what plan I am on?

If you have your Messenger Pigeon app, expand the left panel and click on Settings (or tap the Person icon on the bottom if you are on mobile). Click the License tab on the left column and it will show you what plan you are on.

If you are an administrator, you will be able to see whether or not your students are on a license through your Habitat Admin portal. All users who do not have licenses are automatically under the Demo tier, which has the 30-hour recording limit.

Our Support Team will not be able to give you a license, it is something that your school will have to buy and assign to you.
