Understanding the Journal View
The Journal view is designed to show you only the habits scheduled for the current day. This means:
If a habit is not scheduled to repeat on the current day, it won't appear in your Journal view
You'll only see habits that are active and scheduled for today
How to Check Your Habit Settings
To verify your habit's schedule:
Go to Settings
Select "Manage habits"
Find your habit in the list
Check the following:
Whether the habit is active or archived
Habit repetition schedule
Start date
Common Solutions
If you can't see your habit, try these steps:
Step 1: Locate Your Habit in Settings
You can find a complete list of all your habits, regardless of their schedule, in the settings menu.
Go to the Settings tab.
Tap on Manage Habits.
You will see your newly created habit in this list.
Step 2: Check and Edit the "Repeat" Schedule
From the Manage Habits list, tap on the habit you want to fix.
Tap Edit.
Look at the Repeat setting. You will see which days of the week are selected.
Step 3: Make Your Changes
If you want to do the habit today: Simply tap on the Repeat setting and add today's weekday to the schedule. Save your changes, and the habit will now appear on your main Journal view.
If the schedule is already correct (and doesn't include today): No action is needed! You can be confident that the habit is set up correctly and will appear automatically on its next scheduled day.
If you've checked all the above and still can't see your habit:
Try force-closing and reopening the app
Make sure you're running the latest version of Habitify
