How to create a Weekly Habit
A weekly habit is a habit that has the goal set for the whole week. Therefore, in the habit settings, you will set the goal as [number] [unit] per week.
Depending on how you want your habit to appear on the Journal screen, you can configure in the Repeat setting.
View weekly habits on Journal
On the Journal view, when your weekly habit is incomplete, it is categorized in the section This Week.
Track progress on weekly habit
To log your progress on a weekly habit, you can take the same steps as you do when checking in on a daily habit.
As long as the goal is not achieved, your habit will remain incomplete in the Journal view
You can check the last time you check-in on your weekly habit by tapping on the habit > see the calendar in the single progress view.
You will receive reminders as you scheduled for your habit until the goal per week is completed.
The single progress view of a weekly habit
When you tap on your weekly habit, a screen to view it progress for the whole month will appear, showing you the following information:
The current streak.
A grid report showing the total achievement, the number of days you complete, skip, and mark habit as fail.
A calendar view of your progress.
A trend chart on your achievement by day, week, and month.
Current Streak
Streak for the weekly habit is weekly-based. It means, as long as you complete your weekly goal, your streak is counted up.
Under the number of current streak, each of your last 7 weeks are represented as a progress bar, letting you easily see your completion rate recently.
Progress Break-Down
The grid report provides the details of your progress, where you can see the specific numbers reported on your achievement and development.
There are 4 index numbers:
Success (for iOS): displays the number of days you achieved your habit goal.
Completion rate (for Android): displays the completion rate you accomplished on your habit for the currrently-viewing month or year.
Failed: shows the number of days you marked as failed for the habit.
Skipped: indicates the number of days you marked as skipped for the habit.
Total: reflects the total amount or number of times you have completed the habit, with the unit aligned to your goal's unit (e.g., minutes).
Under each significant number, you can compare your achievement from the previous range ( ex, this month compared to the last month, this year compared to the prior year).
How are Success calculated?
The number of success days increases when the goal is accomplished. Consequently,
If the goal per week is completed, success days will be 7 days for the whole week.
If the goal per week is incomplete, success days will be 0 days for the whole week.
Furthermore, if there are days marked with Skip or Fail, the total success days will be minus those days.
For example, if you achieve the weekly goal, then the total number of success days is 7. However, if you mark 1 day as Skipped and 2 days as Failed, then the total number is 5.
Calendar view
The calendar visually represents your habit progress in the period. Each day is marked with different symbols based on the status you check on your habit on that day:
A solid colored circle: you make progress on your habit
An right-headed arrow: you mark your habit as skipped
A black cross: you mark your habit as failed.
You can change the time range from a month to a year to view your progress throughout the year.
Trending with the Column Chart
The column chart gives you a powerful visual of your habit performance over time.
At the bottom of the chart, you can switch between Day, Week, Month, or Year. This lets you see your progress from a daily snapshot to a long-term trend.
When you select a time period, you'll see:
Your Performance Trend: Each column shows your total achievement for that period (for example, each day of the week or each month of the year).
Exact Details: Tap and hold any column to see the specific number you achieved for that single period.
Your Average: The chart also calculates your average achievement per period since you started the habit.
Goal Threshold: In the week view, you can see a dashed line which represents the goal you set for the period. Combining the dashed lines and your columns, you can see how much you grow comparing with yourself and your goal.
View weekly habits in the Progress tab
In the Progress tab, for a weekly habit, you can see:
A progress bar which is showing your completion for a week.
Total: The total progress value you have achieved.
Skipped: The total number of days you have marked with Skip.
Failed: The total number of days you have marked with Fail.
