The Habitify web app offers two powerful views for your habits—Grid View and List View. Each view provides flexible and fast ways to log your progress.
Here’s a quick guide on how to check in your habits in both views.
Log progress on Grid View
Grid View gives you a calendar-like overview of your habits, making it easy to log progress for any day, past or present. Each cell in the grid represents a single day for a habit.
To log progress for a single day
You have two simple options:
Click to Select: Click on any cell (day). An action bar will appear at the bottom. Choose from Complete, Skip, or Fail.
Right-Click for Speed: Right-click on a cell to open the context menu. From here, you can instantly log the habit as Complete, Skip, or Fail. You can also hover on "Add Log" to enter a specific value.
Bulk Logging for Multiple Days
Bulk logging is only available for habits with a daily goal. You can use one of these ways.
For specific, non-consecutive days: Hold down Ctrl (on Windows) or Cmd (on Mac) and click on all the individual cells you want to update. Then, choose an action from the bottom bar.
For a consecutive range of days: Click and hold on a cell, then drag your mouse across the nearby cells to select a range. Release the mouse and choose an action from the bottom bar.
Important:
For habits that are linked and sync data from Apple Health, Habitify does not support to manually log progress or mark the habit as complete in any way within the app.
Habit will be marked as completed once the total synced data is equal to or over the goal.
In case you want to add data manually, please follow the Guide to manually log data in Apple Health app by Apple.
However, you still can mark those habits as skipped or failed.
Log progress on List View
List View provides a simple, focused list of your habits for a specific day. It's designed for quick and easy check-ins.
You can hover your mouse over a habit. An input field will appear. To log a specific number, type it in the box and press Enter.
Otherwise, to mark a habit as completed, skipped or failed, click the 3-dot menu on the right side of the habit, or right-click on the habit to open the context menu and see all available options.
Remove Logs
If your habit is marked as completed, skipped, or failed, you can unmark it using the Remove Logs button.
On the Grid view, right click on a cell to open the drop-down menu and choose Remove Logs
On the List view, right click on a habit and then click the Remove Logs option.
Undo a log
In case you accidentally enter a wrong log, then want to remove it without removing all of the previous logs of the current day, week, or month, you can access the Log History in the Single Progress view.
To open the Single Progress view:
On Grid view, single-click on the habit
On List view, double-click on the habit
To remove a log:
Access the Log History section
Click the checkbox before each log to select the log
Click the Delete Selected
