Getting started with Habitify on your Wear OS watch is seamless. Follow these steps to get Habitify running on your watch perfectly.
On your Android Phone: Navigate to the Google Play Store, then search and install Habitify app.
On your Wear OS Watch: Press your watch's main button/crown to open your list of installed apps.
Open Habitify on your Watch: Find and tap on the new Habitify icon to launch it.
Follow the Prompts: The watch app will instruct you to open the Habitify app on your phone. Do this to authenticate your account and grant the necessary permissions.
Wait for Sync: Keep the app open on your watch. The initial sync of your habits should complete in under a minute.

Checking In Your Habits
You can check in your habits directly on the watch.
Open the Habitify app on your watch.
Tap on a habit.
Choose buttons to log progress value prompted, or buttons to mark the habit as Skipped or Failed.
To ensure your check-in data from the watch syncs correctly with the phone app, both your watch and your phone must have an active internet connection.
Interactive Notifications
When a reminder for a habit appears on your watch, you have two convenient options:
Mark as Complete: You can tap a button directly on the notification to instantly mark the habit as done.
Open on Phone: Alternatively, you can tap the notification to open the habit directly within the Habitify app on your phone for more options.
Currently, actions from the notification are limited to marking a habit as complete. Actions like partially complete, skip, or fail are not yet supported directly from the notification and require opening the app.
Using Complications
Add a Habitify complication to your favorite watch face for an at-a-glance view of your progress.
Step-by-Step: How to Add a Complication
To add new complication on your watch face:
Press and hold down on your current watch face until it enters "Edit" mode.
Tap the "Edit" button or a pencil icon.
Swipe left or right until you are on the "Complications" editing screen.
Tap the complication slot where you want to add Habitify.
Scroll through the list of available apps and select Habitify.
Press your watch's crown/main button to save and exit the editing screen.
How to Fix a Complication That Isn't Showing
Sometimes after adding a complication for the first time, it may not display correctly. If this happens, try this simple trick to refresh it:
From your main watch face, swipe to a completely different watch face.
Wait for a moment.
Swipe back to the watch face where you just added the Habitify complication.
This action forces the data to refresh and should trigger the newly-added complication to work properly.
Common Troubleshooting: App Keeps Loading
If you run into an issue where you can't log in or your habits aren't loading after the initial setup, please try these recommendations:
Check Internet on Both Devices: Confirm both your phone and watch are online. On your phone, open a web browser. On your watch, look for a Wi-Fi symbol or a "connected" status in your settings.
Re-install (Last Resort): If the issue persists, uninstall Habitify from your phone. This will also remove it from your watch. Then, go back to Part 1 and perform a fresh installation.
